Local Geography and Context Tools

Weather, soil, terrain, crop calendars, field history, caching and limitations.

BlueprintVersion 0.25 Aug 2026

Context packet

Current/recent weather, rainfall/humidity, temperature/wind, soil properties, elevation/slope/drainage proxies, irrigation zone, crop calendar, previous field cases/treatments, regional signals and approved satellite indicators.

Priority

Use departmental and Pakistan Meteorological Department data where accessible. NASA POWER, SoilGrids and Copernicus DEM are candidate gap-fill/baseline sources and must be validated locally.

  "soil": {"class": "loam", "confidence": 0.62, "resolution_m": 250},
  "limitations": ["soil_is_gridded_estimate"]

Limitations

Global gridded data may be too coarse for a field. Record spatial resolution, observation time and uncertainty. Verified farmer/field observations can supersede coarse estimates.

Cache/failure

Cache terrain/soil by dataset version/grid; expire weather by update frequency. If unavailable, mark it unavailable—never infer current conditions from generic knowledge.
